First season of use was this year. It was quite handy compared to my previous tripod style chair. I like how low it sits to the ground and how easy it becomes to blend in with the surroundings. It definitely helped to keep me warmer by staying off the ground and was far more comfortable with allowed me to make less noise as I was not shifting around as much.I know it doesn't make sense. I am not a hunter, but I go camping with friends and family. This chair sits pretty low, but it is comfortable with reasonable back support. It is more comfortable than the average camping chair, and much lighter and easier to pack into a car.The camo design is good, but not necessary for what I use it for. If it comes in solid color design like dark blue or dark green, I would have bought some more for camping trips. Taking this chair to camping is probably okay, but I may have to explain to some concerned campers and park rangers that I am not hunting! This is a great little chair that is light, portable and comfortable. As another reviewer mentioned, you can even use it right at home to watch TV or play video games.Edit (2016/04/04):After 2.5 years, it is still holding up very well. I also want to add how well it works for shooting with low bipod or tripod shooting sticks. I place the chair at about 45 degrees from the shooting direction. It is comfortable to relax in while waiting. When it is time to shoot, lean forward, scoot your bottom further back, and rest your shooting elbow on the knee of the same side. I put my non-shooting elbow on the other knee and use the non-shooting hand to gently support the butt of the shoulder stock. I find this shooting position to be very solid and easy to transition from a relaxed waiting position (unlike prone position!).Perfect for a run and gun style of deer hunting. The seat is low to the ground and quit. It's easy to carry and light. The chair has good comfort and support. It’s a little hard to get out of for 70 years old. But as far as chair legs not digging in and sturdiness it’s the best I’ve tried.Put this chair to the test recently turkey hunting. I purchased two of these and one was used by someone who is 6'1" 250. He had no problems sitting in this chair for a few hours and found it to be very comfortable. This chair will easily hold more weight. I like that the legs are supported all the way across the bottom. They do not sink into the mud like single chair legs would so the chair stays level while you're sitting in it. This was one of the main reasons I choose this model and i'm glad I did. The strap extends nicely allowing you to easily carry the chair on your shoulder. It's also quiet when opening which is great if you're in a spot where you need to setup and can't make much noise. If you're looking for a low profile chair to use turkey hunting, this is a nice chair to have.My expectations for this chair were pretty low but I have to say it has impressed me! I'm 6' and 300lbs and this chair is very comfortable, sturdy and does not make a noise. Gets you up off the ground enough that your legs wont fall asleep but is low enough that you stay well concealed. Some additional info, I have a 34" bow and can shoot from this chair comfortably without cams coming into contact with the ground. I purchased this chair originally for use in an Ameristep Caretaker blind. The chair is to low to easily shoot through the windows. I would recommend something slightly higher for shooting from a popup blind. I see this as the ideal chair for turkey hunting or riverbank waterfowl hunting. My only wish for this chair is that the carry strap be a little longer. This chair is easy to carry and comfortable. This chair has served me well for both Turkey hunting, and is now being used this deer season. It's light weight and can work well in just about any situation. The straps seems sturdy and can take some abuse. Initially I never used the pockets but find that this is a really nice addition. At 5lbs this is lighter than the strutter folding chair as well as the three leg triangle chairs with the back. This works well with fabric blind and some sticks or in a popup blind. The height is just right for both and allows you to stay out of view. The mesh back is a blessing in the spring, but can allow drafts to creep up in the other region during winter. I have purchased two of these and have recommended them to others that I hunt with. You just can't go wrong with this chair. Its a nice chair, I don't hunt for turkeys but I wanted a good quality portable chair. It sits really low, lower than I thought but still comfortable.Cons: Doesn't hang great on your back and again the size but that might just be me.Pros: Build is terrific, super tough and looks coolI liked the chair but the leg was broken, I was leaving for hunting didn’t have time to send it back thay Gave me a credit but I would’ve rather had another chair but that’s OK thank youGood sturdy chair. Excellent size for ground blind. Will see how it works out for spring turkey.Really like this hunting chair. Good angle and sturdy. Ideal for duck hunting from tall grass etcBrowning 4ever!
