After hip surgery my father in-law wanted a tall folding chair. I had an extra Cabelas one that was 10yrs old but still like new and gave it to him. I found this one some months later and ordered. It was rated for 325lbs. I am 6-1 and tip the scales at 230. This was nowhere as sturdy as the Cabelas one, a little slackly. If I weighed much more that 275, I would not trust it. If you are tall and thin, this is your chair.
