Bought this lamp for our very first camping expedition. Having a child that's afraid of the dark, I needed something that would provide a bright and reassuring light. This fits the bill perfectly. It takes D batteries which is nice, since I won't have to worry about recharging this thing in a power outage or when outdoors. It has a few light settings and a strobe setting which is a nice feature if you ever need it. It was light enough to hang from our tent and was bright enough to help my little fall asleep.It's an affordable item that provides great value. It served our camping needs well, and between trips will be on standby in case of any power outages. Definitely recommend!
