I like the option of hanging these up or standing them up if you have a surface for it. The hook/stand part could be more robust, but I think they will work fine for camping. The light options are easy to cycle through. It comes on amberish then can be cycled with a click of the button through cool white and warm white. By holding the button down and releasing, you get green, red, blue, or changing color. If the last light color you used was white, it will come be amber when turned back on. If you had it on RBG when you last used it, it will be green when you turn it on. I will probably use the amber and red most of the time, but it is nice to have options.The USBC port is covered, and on the side of the light base. The pair of lights come with their own USB/USBC charging cables .
