We purchased this because our older tent is a ultralight backpack tent. We are doing more car camping now and wanted something easy to set up and larger. This sets up in less than a minute, (not including the stakes) I have seen some videos and reviews saying it is confusing to take down. Not really, there is a joint on the poles that needs to separate to fold, it is clearly marked PULL with an arrow. We spent 2 nights, on a very hard surface, I was only able to drive some of the stakes in 3 to 5. The first night it poured, we did not have a second fly over the tent, we did have a trap tucked under it. Not a drop of water entered the tent. The next day, while we were away from the site, the weather turned windy, 22 mph constant with gusts higher. The tent had no issues, even being poorly staked due to the hard ground.Another thing I would like to point out is the carry bag is right sized. So often I find them under sized stuff sacks and struggle to pack my gear. This is as large enough to fit in easily, with a zipper and has cinch straps to compress it.
